The Handle's composition is handled by a straightforward viewfinder that is mounted above the grip, just like the majority of instant cameras. Although an electric eye above the lens controls exposure automatically, there is still a rudimentary exposure compensation slider on the front barrel. A battery test button that turns on a red light on top of the snout is also on the front of the barrel in the corner. A connector for flash bulbs is located right beneath the battery test light, and the blue shutter button is located on the side of the barrel. A black winder that folds out of the side is used to move to the following frame after making an exposure, adding a pleasingly mechanical element to an otherwise electronic camera.
